I love spring! Where I live there is a distinct difference between Winter and Spring. Spring is alive with ambition and what my garden can be...and then spring turns into summer heat, I realize my ambitions are fading and all I want to do is go on vacation! I want a break from the weeding, the feeding and the mosquito's eating me. My thoughts turn to the beach...and I wish I'd made a plan. Fail to plan, plan to fail---I always say. So this year I'm going to stay at a gem of a place, Surfside Beach in Southern California. A friendly, slow drum beat community among the fast pace, car race of Orange County. Surfside is a kick-off-your-shoes, play in the street, on the beach, and in the ocean kind of place. A small, gated-community between Surf City Huntington Beach and charming, small town Seal Beach.
